End User Privacy Policy

IP Trust provides an IP Intelligence service to customers, accessible via API or Database Downloads, providing enriched IP address information for the purposes of marketing, localisation, analytics, compliance and fraud and abuse prevention. IP Trust is a product built and operated by Friendly Captcha GmbH.

Your privacy is critically important to us. At IP Trust we have a few fundamental principles:

• We aim to make it as simple as possible for you to keep control over your data.

Below you will find privacy information for end users, which incorporates these principles.

Service Users are those who incorporate our service into their website.

End Users are individuals whose IP address may be passed by Service Users to IP Trust.

Friendly Captcha GmbH, the operator of the IP Trust service, acts as a data processor when providing IP data enrichment features. The Service User, as the data controller, is responsible for complying with the privacy obligations for its website.

The Service User provides the applicable privacy policy for end users for its specific use of IP Trust on its website.

Privacy Information for End Users

IP Trust provides an IP Intelligence service that offers enriched IP address information for the purposes of marketing, localisation, analytics, compliance and fraud and abuse prevention. IP Trust is a product built and operated by Friendly Captcha GmbH.

The Service User may choose to use IP Trust in such a way that utilises the IP Trust API to enrich IP information of End Users. In such cases, the Service User will collect and transmit the End User IP to IP Trust. IP Trust will then provide the Service User’s application or website with additional information related to that IP address.

For more information on data protection when using IP Trust and on how the additional IP information is utilised by the application or website, please visit the privacy policy of the Service User that implemented IP Trust.

IP Trust does not use the IP data to identify a natural person or for marketing purposes.

IP Trust does not retain any IP address provided by the Service User.
